oh this is nothing, just 2003!Navarro being awesome and perfect. 

I was feeling a bit nostalgic (and bored, okay), so I went through some old articles (like, 2003 stuff) by El País and. I got this:

• Pregunta. ¿Ha aprendido mucho de su amigo Pau Gasol?
• Navarro. Sí. Como yo, es un ganador nato, no tiene miedo a nada y se ha hecho respetar desde el primer día que llegó a la NBA.
• P. Habla básicamente de aspectos psicológicos.
• N. Sí. Porque, técnicamente, soy mejor que él. (ríe)

Interviewer. Did you learn a lot from your friend Pau Gasol?
Navarro. Yeah. He’s a born winner, just like me; he doesn’t fear anything and he was respected in the NBA since day one.
I. So basically, [you learned from him] only on the psychological side?
N. Yes. Because technically, I’m better than him. (laughs)

…and, uh, yeah. Did I ever mention how much I love him and ship them and can’t deal with all of this? Right.
